1. Brush at least 2 times a day, for 2 minutes each time you brush. As always use a fluoride containing toothpaste and a soft toothbrush. For children who can't spit out the toothpaste, they should use no more toothpaste than the size of a grain of rice.

2. Floss daily! Floss is the best way to clean the areas between your teeth.

3. Chew sugar free gum regularly. This stimulates saliva, your bodies natural cavity defense, and removes any remaining food debris.

4. Limit your exposure to sugary drinks and foods. It's good to treat yourself, just don't prolong your teeth's exposure to the food and drinks. Drinking soda should not last more than 30 minutes.
