Dr. Kumfer's Kitchen: Egg and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits
We love a good breakfast food, especially when they are made to be on the go! These stuffed Egg and Cheese biscuits are perfect to make before the week begins for on the go breakfasts. Also, using some pre-made items such as liquid egg whites and pre-made biscuit mix, you can prepare these with little time and effort.
What You Need
Food – this makes 8 servings. 1 Serving is 1 stuffed biscuit.
3 cups of Liquid Egg Whites
1 Tube of Grands! Flaky Layers Biscuits
½ cup Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
Cookie Sheet or Baking Pan
What You Do
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place liquid egg whites into skillet to cook, depending on your skillet you may need a little olive oil so the eggs don't stick. I like to make it as it were a big pancake and flip it once it is cooked on one side. And then you can cut the eggs into 8 pieces.
Separate the biscuits in half (these should just peel apart) and add 1 TBSP of shredded Colby Jack Cheese to one side of each biscuit.
Place one egg piece (approx. 6 TBSP of Egg Whites) on to cheese and place the biscuit back together and pinch the sides closed.
Place in oven and back for 20-25 minutes until the biscuits start to brown.
