Keep Your Breath Fresh On Valentine's Day With These 5 Tips

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and that means being close to the ones you love. The last thing you want to subject your loved ones to is stinky breath. Keep your halitosis to yourself with these 5 tips:

  1. Brush and Floss! The bacteria hiding on and between your teeth are the number one cause of bad breath.

  2. Scrape your tongue! Your tongue is like a sponge with microscopic pockets that can hold odor from food, drinks, bacteria and fungus. Tongue scrapers act like squeegees, to clean off your tongue.

  3. Use a mouth rinse. Mouth rinses will kill off any remaining bacteria on your teeth, gums or tongue and limit the growth of that bacteria for a few hours.

  4. Chew sugar-free gum. Gum stimulates saliva, removes food debris and freshens your breath.
